Historic Kundalini Awakening and “Vande Mataram” Performance by 200 Artists Enters World Book of Records on International Yoga and Music Day in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, India: A spiritually powerful and musically vibrant ceremony took place at Tripuravasini Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, on the occasion of International Yoga Day and World Music Day. Jointly hosted by Sahaja Yoga – The Life Eternal Trust, Bengaluru, and Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, created a historic milestone in the spiritual and cultural landscape of India.

The morning began with the stirring beats of traditional Chenda Melam, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before the image of Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Yoga asanas, led by Nethra Nagraj and her team, followed the official Government of India sequence and engaged a large, enthusiastic crowd.

The highlight of the event was a mass Kundalini awakening and self-realization session, where over 5,000 participants experienced the transformative meditation technique founded by Shri Mataji. The serene collective meditation brought an atmosphere of deep inner peace and oneness.

The grand finale featured a spectacular musical tribute to the Indian Armed Forces a rendition of “Vande Mataram” by 200 artists from 20 countries, supported by over 100 Indian and Western instruments. This performance entered the World Book of Records, London for its global representation and scale. The certificate was presented to Dr. Manoj Kumar, Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Kalpana Srivastava, and Dr. Mahantesh Kivadasannavar by WBR representatives Dr. Tithi Bhalla and Dr. Madhur Temle.

Union AYUSH Minister Prataprao Jadhav, Avdo. Santosh Shukla (CEO), Kalraj Mishra, and UK MP Virendra Sharma extended their congratulations. The ceremony was also attended by dignitaries and cultural icons, concluding with a vote of thanks by Dr. Manoj Kumar.
