 
		ICAI Creates World Record for Maximum MSME Mentorship Felicitations in a Day
- The ceremonial ceremony was inaugurated by Smriti Irani, Former Union Cabinet Minister, Government of India, who appreciated ICAI’s contribution towards empowering small businesses and start-ups — the backbone of India’s economic growth.

The Committee on MSME & Startups of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has been included in World Book of Records UK for achieving the remarkable feat of “Maximum MSME Mentorship Felicitations in a Day”.

On the occasion of International MSME Day 2025, ICAI’s vast Chartered Accountant network across 177 branches successfully conducted 19,355 mentorship felicitations for MSMEs and Startups across the nation. This large-scale initiative reflects ICAI’s steadfast commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth, financial literacy, and business resilience within India’s MSME ecosystem.

The certificate was bestowed to CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, President, ICAI; CA (Dr.) Jai Kumar Batra, Secretary, ICAI; CA Gyan Chandra Misra, Chairman, Committee on MSME & Startups, ICAI, CA. Arpit Jagdish Kabra, Vice-Chairman, Committee on MSME & Startups, ICAI by Chartered Officer Dr. Rajeev Shrivastava, in recognition of ICAI’s unparalleled nationwide mentorship drive.

Speaking on the achievement, CA. Gyan Chandra Misra, Chairman of the Committee on MSME & Startups, ICAI, expressed pride in the collective effort of the Chartered Accountant fraternity, stating, “This milestone is a testament to ICAI’s vision of guiding MSMEs and startups toward sustainable growth and global competitiveness.
