MGM Golf Club included in World Book of Records for organizing First-Ever Women’s Non-Golfers Golf League
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra: MGM Golf Club, Padegaon, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, India, has been included in World Book of Records for organizing the first-ever Women’s Non-Golfers Golf League 2026, a pioneering initiative designed to introduce the sport of golf to women with no prior golfing experience. The innovative league was conducted from 28 February 2026 to 1 March 2026 at MGM Golf Club, Padegaon, and witnessed the participation of 45 non-golfer women, who were divided into four competitive teams. The event successfully created an engaging platform for women to learn, experience, and enjoy the sport while promoting confidence, teamwork, and healthy recreation. World Book of Records certificate was bestowed by Chartered Officer Monica Mohan to Ranjeet Gurumohan Kakkad, Founder and Managing Director of MGM Golf Club, Padegaon, in recognition of this exceptional accomplishment. The Women’s Non-Golfers Golf League represented a significant step toward expanding the accessibility of golf and encouraging greater female participation in the sport. Through structured training sessions, friendly competition, and interactive activities, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of golf in a supportive and inclusive environment.
