Indore Police Commissionerate Creates Three World Records under Anti-Drug Campaign
Indore, Madhya Pradesh: Indore Police Commissionerate successfully concluded its flagship anti-drug awareness campaign, “Nashe Se Doori Hai Zaroori 2.0 (Say No to Drugs),” by creating three World Records, reinforcing its commitment to building a drug-free society through mass public participation.
The campaign achieved three remarkable milestones: an 8,534-member human chain promoting drug awareness, an awareness lecture by Police Commissioner Shri Santosh Kumar Singh, IPS, attended by 8,534 participants, and an online anti-drug pledge taken by 175,451 citizens. These achievements highlighted the collective resolve of the community against substance abuse.
The grand closing ceremony witnessed the presence of senior police officials, World Book of Records Chartered Officers Suchita Shukla and Apoorva Menon, representatives of social organizations, educators, students, media personnel, and more than 2,500 attendees. The event celebrated the success of the campaign while encouraging continued public participation in creating a healthier, safer, and drug-free future.
The initiative stands as a powerful example of how collaborative efforts between law enforcement, educational institutions, and civil society can inspire large-scale social awareness and community action.
