Barwani, Madhya Pradesh: District Police Barwani has been officially included by the World Book of Records, London, for organising a remarkable anti-drug awareness campaign through the display of a 2-kilometre-long flex banner featuring a collage of “Say No to Drugs” drawings created by 16,749 school students from across Barwani District. The banner was unveiled on 28 July 2026, symbolising the collective commitment of students, educators, and the police towards building a drug-free society.
The unique initiative encouraged active participation from school children, who expressed their commitment to combating drug abuse through creative artwork. By transforming thousands of individual drawings into a single massive visual display, the campaign effectively spread the message of awareness, prevention, and social responsibility throughout the district.
The World Book of Records recognised the campaign for its exceptional public participation and its innovative approach to promoting anti-drug awareness. The certificate of recognition was presented by World Book of Records Chartered Officers Rajesh Shukla and Rajeev Shrivastava to Superintendent of Police Padmavilochan Shukla during a dedicated felicitation ceremony held at Bawangaja, Barwani.
