Indore Municipal Corporation includes in World Book of Records for 5 Lakh Segregation Selfies
Indore, Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav congratulated Indore Municipal Corporation for achieving a remarkable world record in the field of waste segregation and public participation.
World Book of Records presented a certificate to Indore Municipal Corporation for successfully creating a World Record for the highest number of waste-segregation selfies collected in a single day, with an impressive participation of 5 lakh citizens.

Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava and Municipal Commissioner Prakhar Singh received the certificate by Chartered Officer Rajesh Shukla and Rajeev Shrivastava.
The initiative reflected Indore’s continued commitment to cleanliness, responsible waste management and citizen participation, further strengthening its reputation as a leader in innovative cleanliness campaigns.

On the occasion, Health Committee-in-Charge Ashwini Shukla expressed his gratitude for their valuable support and contribution towards the successful campaign.
The achievement once again showcased the collective spirit of Indore’s citizens and civic administration in promoting sustainable waste segregation practices.
