Gujarat Education Minister Dr. Kuberbhai Dindor Saheb Honoured Dr. Maheboob Kureshi with World Book of Records Certificate for Global Yoga Feat

Gujarat — In a moment of pride for India and the global yoga community, Dr. Maheboob Kureshi was felicitated at the Gujarat State Secretariat in Gandhinagar on 21 January 2025 by the Gujarat Education Minister, Dr. Kuberbhai Dindor Saheb.

The recognition came under the esteemed guidance of the World Book of Records, for Dr. Kureshi’s extraordinary achievement of becoming the world’s first yoga guru to perform 7 hours of continuous yoga without food inside and outside the iconic Giza Pyramid in Cairo, Egypt.

Dr. Kureshi’s feat is now officially registered in the World Book of Records, and has been hailed as a global milestone in the field of yoga and wellness. His dedication has inspired thousands around the world, promoting India’s heritage of yoga as a path to holistic health and inner peace.
