Forensic Science Officer Avinash Chand Puri will Honoured with Excellence Medal by Union Home Minister
India/Madhya Pradesh – Avinash Chand Puri, Scientific Officer and In-charge of the DNA Unit at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Indore, Madhya Pradesh has been selected to receive the prestigious Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence. He is the first recipient of this honour to be felicitated by Union Home Minister.
This recognition has been instituted under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to acknowledge exceptional contributions in various fields of policing and forensic science. The award aims to boost the morale of police personnel and officers across the nation by celebrating outstanding professional achievements.
Avinash Puri has been recognized for his exemplary work and significant contributions in the field of Forensic Science, particularly in the domain of DNA analysis and investigation support, which has played a crucial role in strengthening the criminal justice system in Madhya Pradesh and across India.
