University, Indore, in 1976, followed by an M.A. in English Literature in 1981 from the same institution, for which she was awarded a Gold Medal. She also holds a Cultural Doctorate in Literature from the World University in Arizona, U.S.A., and a D.Ed from D.A.V.V. University in 2001. Her academic achievements laid the foundation for her future work, combining her love for knowledge with a deep-rooted sense of social responsibility.

She is the President of the Thalassemia and Child Welfare Group, an organization she founded to support children suffering from Thalassemia, a life-threatening blood disorder. The group is actively involved in organizing blood donation camps, conducting crucial medical tests, and providing medications at reduced costs for over 200 registered patients. Her efforts also extend to comprehensive medical care for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, providing assistance for conditions such as brain tumors, heart diseases, and cancer.

In education, Dr. Bhandari has championed child welfare projects that aim to promote rural education, rehabilitate child labor, and empower street children. Through organizing inter-school competitions and awareness camps, she has encouraged young talent and sought to uplift children from challenging circumstances.

In addition, she has been a member of numerous social welfare groups, including the Lioness Club of Indore Greater, where she has held key positions such as Secretary and President. Her leadership within the Lioness Club earned her numerous accolades, including the “Best President” award and recognition for her contributions to education and social services.

Her name has been featured in “Top Eleven Ladies of Madhya Pradesh” and recognized among the “Top 25 Leading Personalities of M.P.” She was also honored with the Mata Gujri Award for “her contributions to women’s empowerment. Dr. Bhandari’s personal life is as enriching as her professional one. Married to Shri Dilip Bhandari, a government servant and recipient of the President’s Medal for Gallantry, she has always found strength and support in her family. Her interests include reading, writing, and participating in radio programs. She has written numerous articles for local newspapers and magazines and was a columnist for the evening newspaper ‘Apna Indore.’ Additionally, she has been featured in various biographical publications highlighting her journey as a social worker.
