Bharat Gaurav Awards 2026 Celebrated at Parliament of Victoria, Honouring Global Excellence and Indian Heritage

  • Melbourne Hosts Prestigious International Ceremony Recognizing Outstanding Achievements Across 18 Countries

Melbourne, Australia: The 13th edition of the Bharat Gaurav Awards 2026, organized by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha, was held with great grandeur at the historic Queen’s Hall, Parliament of Victoria, Melbourne, bringing together distinguished personalities from across the world in a celebration of excellence, service, spirituality, leadership, and cultural heritage.

The event witnessed participation from representatives of 18 countries, including political leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, scientists, spiritual leaders, social workers, and members of the global Indian diaspora. A total of 25 distinguished personalities were honoured with the Bharat Gaurav Award for their exceptional contributions to society, humanity, culture, business, education, healthcare, and public service.

A historic moment marked the beginning of the ceremony when the National Anthems of India and Australia were followed by a soulful recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa by Mahant Dr. Narreshpuri Ji Maharaj of Mehandipur Balaji Dham. For the first time, the sacred verses resonated within the Parliament of Victoria, symbolizing the growing global appreciation for Indian culture and Sanatan values.

Among the notable awardees were Amruta Fadnavis, Padma Shri Dr. Soma Ghosh, Kaushaliya Vaghela, Randhir Thakur, Rajyogi B.K. Surya Bhai Ji, and several distinguished leaders from India, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. A special posthumous Bharat Gaurav Award was conferred upon Padma Vibhushan Piyush Pandey, acknowledging his extraordinary contribution to the world of advertising and creative communication.

The event was graced by Hon. Steve Dimopoulos, Minister for Environment, Government of Victoria; Viv Nguyen AM, Chair of the Victorian Multicultural Commission; MP Meng Heang Tak; Mahant Dr. Narreshpuri Ji Maharaj; and Rakesh Kumar Shukla, Chief Advisor to the Prayagraj Mahakumbh.

On the successful completion of the event, Kalraj Mishra, former Governor of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh and former Union Cabinet Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Santosh Shukla, CEO World Book of Records extended their heartfelt congratulations to Pt. Suresh Mishra, Founder of Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha, for the grand success of the Bharat Gaurav Awards 2026. They lauded his unwavering commitment to promoting Indian culture, spirituality, and global Indian excellence through an internationally respected platform that continues to honour outstanding achievers across diverse fields.

Founded in 2012, the Bharat Gaurav Awards have evolved into a globally respected platform for recognizing individuals whose contributions create meaningful impact on society and humanity. Having previously been hosted at prestigious venues including the British Parliament in London, the French Senate in Paris, and the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the Melbourne edition further strengthened the awards’ international stature and celebrated the growing influence of Indian values, culture, and leadership across the world.
