Indore, Madhya Pradesh: Late Shri Trijugi Narayan Shukla and Late Smt. Manorama Shukla devoted their entire lives to selfless social service, dedicating over five decades to the upliftment of society and positively transforming thousands of lives.
Their humanitarian work touched some of the most vulnerable sections of the community. They arranged the marriages of more than 125 underprivileged and orphaned girls, offering them dignity, security, and a new beginning in life. Deeply committed to inclusivity, they worked tirelessly to empower persons with disabilities and extended compassionate care and support to the elderly.
Education remained at the heart of their mission. They ran a school for underprivileged students, ensuring access to quality education for those who otherwise had limited opportunities. Understanding the growing importance of technology, they initiated low-cost computer training programmes through the Alma organization in 1999, helping bridge the digital divide and equipping countless young individuals with essential digital skills.
Their visionary leadership later led to the establishment of ALMA and World Book of Records, which has honoured over 10,000 talents globally. Their initiatives were always rooted in a non-commercial, humanitarian philosophy focused on service, empowerment, and recognition of excellence.
