Indore, India: In a stunning display of devotion and architectural brilliance, Jagath Guru Dr. Vasanth Vijaynand Giriji Maharaj from Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, India has been recognized for constructing the largest temporary auditorium (pandal) for the Navratri Festival, spanning an impressive 25 acres in Indore. The pandal featured an iconic owl-shaped entrance, 12 Jyotirlinga miniatures, and 23 forms of Goddess Durga, offering devotees a deeply immersive spiritual and cultural experience.
The achievement was formally acknowledged by World Book of Records UK. The certificate was presented to Jagath Guru Dr. Vasanth Vijaynand Giriji Maharaj in the presence of dignitaries including Shankar Lalwani MP Lok Sabha, Sumer Singh Solanki MP Rajya Sabha, Usha Thakur MLA and Madhu Verma MLA by WBR chartered officer Rajesh Shukla and Dr. Rajeev Shrivastav.

From 22 September to 2 October 2025, the massive pandal served as a spiritual hub for thousands, blending tradition, artistry, and devotion. The owl-shaped entrance symbolized wisdom, while the miniatures of the 12 Jyotirlingas and the 23 forms of Goddess Durga enhanced the sacred ambiance.
