Ashwaghosha Art and Culture Foundation Honoured by World Book of Records for Multilingual Preamble of Indian Constitution

Kolhapur, Maharashtra: In a historic cultural achievement, the Ashwaghosha Art and Culture Foundation has been recognized by World Book of Records UK for presenting the Preamble of the Indian Constitution in 20 languages, performed by 1,500 artists.

This first-of-its-kind initiative celebrated the Preamble as the soul of India’s democracy, highlighting its inclusivity and diversity. The recital featured a wide range of languages including Hindi, Marathi, English, Pali, Sanskrit, Kannada, Urdu, Konkani, Punjabi, Gujarati, Rajasthani, Sindhi, Bhojpuri, Assamese, Nepali, Telugu, Odia, Maithili, and Indian Sign Language (ISL) to represent the deaf community.

The felicitation ceremony was graced by Union Minister Dr. Ramdas Athawale, Guardian Minister of Kolhapur Prakash Abitkar, MLA Rajesh Kshirsagar, General Secretary of the Social Justice Ministry of Maharashtra Harshdeep Kamble, Kolhapur Collector Amol Yedage, Assistant Commissioner of Social Justice Department Sachin Sale, and General Director of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute, Pune.

The prestigious WBR Certificate was formally presented to Kabir Naiknaware, renowned singer-composer and President of the Ashwaghosha Art and Culture Foundation, by WBR official Dharmendra Deshmukh. This landmark recognition not only pays tribute to the spirit of the Indian Constitution but also underscores India’s cultural unity in diversity.
