Sri Chaitanya’s 50,000 Students created World Record with Thirukkural Recitation
Chennai, Tamil Nadu: More than 50,000 students of Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools across Tamil Nadu participated in a remarkable attempt to create a world record for the Most Number of Students Reciting Thirukkural.
The record attempted at the Leo Muthu Indoor Stadium, Sri Sairam Engineering College, West Tambaram, Chennai. Students from Grades 3 to 9 participated in the simultaneous recitation, celebrating the timeless wisdom and literary heritage of Tamil Nadu.
The initiative, titled the Grand Thirukkural Thiruvizha, aims to promote awareness and appreciation of the Thirukkural among the younger generation. World Book of Records certificate was bestowed by Chartered Officer Ankita Shah to Seema Boppanna, Director, Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools along with Haribabu J, Head of Operations Tamil Nadu and other dignitaries.
