Young Environmentalist Vishwa Mithra Chowhan Honoured with World Book of Records Recognition

Telangana, India: Nature lover and young environmentalist Vishwa Mithra Chowhan has been honored as a World Book of Records holder for initiating the inspiring environmental movement “Walk for Trees” at the remarkably young age of 3 years and 17 days. Since 2 June 2022, Vishwa Mithra Chowhan has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to environmental conservation by pledging to plant one tree every single day. Through his relentless efforts, he has contributed to the planting of 1,198 trees, along with the distribution of saplings and seed balls, significantly supporting reforestation, environmental conservation, and ecological balance.

The prestigious World Book of Records certificate was conferred upon him by eminent national dignitaries, reflecting the significance of his achievement. He received the honor at the hands of Honourable Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, who served with distinction as the 13th Vice President of India. The occasion was further graced by Hon’ble Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for the Ministry of Mines, Hon’ble Shri Indrasena Reddy, Governor of Tripura, Padma Shri Brahmanandam, the legendary Indian film comedian, and Padma Shri Garikapati Narasimha Rao, renowned Pravachana Kiriti and spiritual orator.
