Government Holkar Science College Undertakes Rare Plant Species Plantation, Felicitated by World Book of Records

  • Plantation drive, reinforcing the message of conservation and green awareness

In a landmark initiative dedicated to environmental conservation, Government Holkar Science College organized the plantation of rare and endangered plant species within its campus. The noble endeavour, seen as a vital step in preserving biodiversity, was honoured with a special felicitation ceremony conducted by the World Book of Records.

“Planting rare and endangered species is like giving new life to Mother Earth truly a noble and inspiring act,” said Santosh Shukla, President & CEO of the World Book of Records, acknowledging the initiative’s significance in restoring ecological balance.

All guests were felicitated for their presence and commitment to the green cause. Chartered officers from World Book of Records were also present and applauded the college’s initiative as a model effort toward sustainable development and environmental stewardship. As part of the ceremony, dignitaries enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive, reinforcing the message of conservation and green awareness.

A collective pledge was taken to protect and nurture greenery for future generations a commitment echoed by students, faculty, and officials alike. This initiative not only highlights the importance of conserving rare flora but also sets an inspiring example for academic institutions across the country to follow in their role as stewards of the environment.
