Dr. Varun Kapoor is one of the dynamic personalities in the domain of cyber security in international scenario. He is an Indian Police Service officer of 1991 batch and Madhya Pradesh cadre – decided to contribute his motive in enhancing public security in this challenging and hitherto unexplored field of policing. It was a novel idea and he also fol- lowed many unconventional strategies to come up with working solutions for mitigating the ill effects of cyber crime on society at large. The first cyber security awareness workshop was held on 28th November 2013 for the students of Emerald Heights International School of Indore. Exactly 100 students and faculty took part and were benefitted. Today this mission of cyber security awareness has entered its hundreds of workshops have been organized not only in Indore or Madhya Pradesh but right across the country and thousands of individuals have benefitted. In addition to this work, Dr. Varun Kapoor has been deeply committed to and involved in the cyber crimes and cyber securities awareness initiative in Indore, Madhya Pradesh as well as the rest of the coun- try. To ensure that the message of cyber security and protection against cyber crimes goes out to the maximum number of people.
