Jaipur, Rajasthan, India: The Commissionerate of Food Safety & Drug Control, Jaipur, Rajasthan, has earned a prestigious recognition from World Book of Records for successfully organizing a Mega Food Safety Training Drive across the state.

The large-scale initiative covered an impressive 25,000 FoSTaC (Food Safety Training & Certification) trainings for food handlers and Food Business Operators (FBOs). The drive was conducted over two days, from March 17 to March 18, 2026, marking one of the most extensive food safety training campaigns in India.

This achievement highlights Rajasthan’s proactive approach toward strengthening food safety standards and ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations across the food industry. The training sessions aimed to educate participants on safe food handling practices, regulatory guidelines, and public health responsibilities.

The official certificate recognizing this remarkable feat was presented by Pratham Bhalla, Chartered Officer of World Book of Records. The honour was bestowed upon Dr. T. Shubhamangala, Commissioner, and Bhagwat Singh, Additional Commissioner of the department.

Under the leadership of Dr. Shubhamangala, the department has taken significant steps to enhance food safety awareness and capacity building among stakeholders.
