Rajasthan Creates History with Statewide Rendition of Vande Mataram includes in World Book of Records

Jaipur, Rajasthan: The Department of School Education, Government of Rajasthan, scripted history by successfully organizing the largest simultaneous statewide rendition of the National Song Vande Mataram across 78,291 schools on 7 November 2025 at exactly 10:15 a.m. This monumental cultural initiative witnessed the participation of 1,05,76,819 students, along with teachers and distinguished guests, bringing the total number of participants to an unprecedented 1,21,72,253. The event was organized to commemorate 150 years of the iconic national song Vande Mataram, penned by the legendary Shri Bankim Chandra Chatterjee.

In recognition of this historic achievement, World Book of Records UK, conferred a Certificate to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma, acknowledging the state’s extraordinary contribution to national unity, cultural heritage, and mass public participation along with Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Premchand Bairwa, Madan Dilawar; Minister of Education, Rao Rajendra Singh; MP Rural Jaipur, Manju Sharma; MP Urban Jaipur, IAS Krishna Kunal; Secetratry Department of School Education, and Kuldeep Ranka, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher and Technical Education Department. The prestigious certificate was bestowed by Pratham Bhalla, Chartered Officer, World Book of Records, in a formal ceremony. The initiative was spearheaded under the guidance of the Department of School Education, playing a key role in its successful execution.

This landmark ceremony stands as a powerful symbol of patriotism, collective harmony, and Rajasthan’s commitment to preserving and celebrating India’s cultural legacy. The recognition by World Book of Records places Rajasthan on the global map for achieving one of the largest synchronized cultural participations in history.
