World Book of Records UK CEO Santosh Shukla issued Public Notice
It has been brought to our grave and serious attention that certain self-styled, unscrupulous, and wholly unauthorized entities are brazenly reproducing, imitating, and misappropriating the name, format, insignia, and intellectual content of the World Book of Records, with a calculated intent to deceive, mislead, and cause manifest confusion amongst the general public.
The public is hereby categorically and unequivocally informed that such entities enjoy no sanction, authorization, recognition, association, or affiliation whatsoever with the World Book of Records. Any claim, certificate, publication, recognition, or representation emanating from such entities is illegal, void, and devoid of any legitimacy, and any reliance placed thereon shall be entirely at the sole peril, risk, and consequence of the concerned individuals.
It is further clarified, in the clearest possible terms, that any unauthorized use, imitation, reproduction, or invocation of the name “World Book of Records” or any deceptively similar expression constitutes a serious and actionable violation of law, including but not limited to offences relating to fraud, misrepresentation, passing off, and infringement of intellectual property rights.
The general public is therefore earnestly cautioned to exercise the highest degree of vigilance, to verify authenticity strictly through official and authorized channels alone, and to refrain from engaging with or being beguiled by such spurious, fraudulent, and unlawful representations.
The World Book of Records and its competent authorities expressly reserve all rights, civil as well as criminal, to initiate and pursue appropriate legal proceedings against any individual, entity, or organization indulging in such unauthorized, deceptive, and illegal acts, without further notice and to the fullest extent permissible under law.
