World Book of Records to Host Award Function on 8 October 2024, in Kathmandu Nepal
Kathmandu, Nepal – The World Book of Records is set to host its prestigious 2024 award function on October 8 at Kathmandu, Nepal. The event will honour remarkable achievements and world record holders from various fields. Santosh Shukla, President and CEO of the World Book of Records, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
One of the highlights of the event will be the presentation of the World Record Certificate to the Nepali Army for their outstanding achievements. Along with this recognition, a Certificate of Participation will be awarded to key contributors within the Nepali Army: Major General Sagar Bahadur Thapa, Conceptualizer, Major General Deepak Kumar Baniya, Chief Organizer, Brigadier General Nawaraj Gurung, Controller, T/Lt. Col. Dinesh Sunam, Director of Music, Maheshwor Sunar, and Choreographer.
Additionally, the Nepal Women Wrestling Foundation, led by Bhagwati Khadka Unika, will also be honored with a World Record Certificate for their contributions to the promotion of women’s wrestling in Nepal. Sanam Sherpa, Coordinator of the Nepal Women Wrestling Foundation, will receive a Certificate of Participation for their role in organizing wrestling events.
