At 9 PM, without rest, Ronnie began his trek to the Mt. Wilhelm base camp. Navigating the darkness, he arrived at midnight, allowing himself only five hours of sleep before starting the final ascent. On the morning of August 23, he began his climb, reaching the summit of Mt. Wilhelm, standing 4,509 meters (14,793 feet) high, by 12 PM.
