101 Flutists Pay Musical Tribute to Indian Women’s Cricket Team in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Karnataka:  On the occasion of International Yoga Day and World Music Day, Sahaja Yoga, Bengaluru, organized a unique celebration combining Yoga, Meditation and Music, featuring a remarkable orchestra of 101+ flutists.

The ensemble delivered a powerful rendition of “Chak De India” as a special musical tribute to the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, celebrating their spirit, determination and contribution to Indian sports. The extraordinary performance received recognition from the World Book of Records, India.

World Book of Records certificate was presented in the distinguished presence of Hon’ble Chief Justice of Karnataka B. S. Patil, Dr. M. N. Thippeswamy, Vasantha Kavitha, daughter of former Governor of Madhya Pradesh and former Chief Minister of Karnataka K. C. Reddy, WBR Editor Apoorva Menon, Dr. Madhur Temle, Dr. Manoj Kumar KC, and other eminent dignitaries.

The ceremony beautifully brought together the timeless practices of yoga and meditation with the universal language of music, while honouring the achievements and inspiring journey of Indian women in cricket. The participation of more than 101 flutists made the occasion a memorable celebration of Indian culture, music, wellness and sporting excellence.
