Sarvesh Pathak: A Beacon of Hope Through Blood Donation

He also actively contributes to advancing the ideologies of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

A resident of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, turned a personal crisis into a mission of saving lives. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, his mother was hospitalized, and he witnessed the dire shortage of blood donors. This experience deeply moved him, inspiring him to take action.

On his birthday, July 15, 2019, Sarvesh initiated his first blood donation drive, setting a precedent for a cause that would grow exponentially. With the support of his organization, Bhartiya Shramik Kamgar Karmchari Mahasangh (BSKKM), he transformed this act of kindness into an annual tradition. Every year since, the organization has conducted blood donation camps across India on his birthday, rallying communities to contribute to this noble cause.

By 2024, Sarvesh’s relentless efforts had created a nationwide impact. In Uttar Pradesh alone, 65,000 individuals came forward to donate blood, while the number across India reached an astounding 83,000. These contributions have saved countless lives and raised awareness about the importance of blood donation.

His focus lies on promoting nationalism, social harmony, and development in alignment with democratic values. He works to propagate the principles of the BJP, such as Antyodaya (upliftment of the last person in society), Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas (collective effort, inclusive growth, and trust), and messages of national pride.

Pathak’s story exemplifies how one individual’s resolve can inspire collective action. His journey from personal adversity to becoming a symbol of hope is a testament to the power of compassion and community spirit. Through his initiative, he has not only honoured his mother but has also created a legacy of life-saving generosity.
